I am a businessman about to expand my business and hire and train several new workers.
Jack Layton doesn't want foreign workers here, but I cannot hire anyone but foreign workers, even at double our minimum wage.
Layton conveniently forgets that his ideas to stop subsidies to oil companies and limit oilsans development will result in massive job losses for those very union workers whom he claims to support.
I just hope for their sake that there will be enough money left in the government coffers to cover all the claims for employment insurance once the oilsands developers have left town.
