This workshop will address the norms applicable to temporary foreign workers and their rights at a federal level, as well as provincial examples drawn from employment labour standards in British Columbia and Quebec Charter Human Rights and Freedoms. It will also give an insight of farm workers’ lives through an analysis of their cultural, social and economic experiences during the duration of their contracts in Quebec.
