The 11th IMISCOE Annual Conference covers the theme 'Immigration, Social Cohesion and Social Innovation.' The conference is organised by the IMISCOE partner IEUM in Madrid, 27-29 August 2014. This year's conference received a record number of proposals, over 200 in total. After a rigorous review, the Conference Committee has accepted about 90 sessions, including research panels, policy workshops, book workshops and a number of working sessions by IMISCOE research clusters.

The preliminary conference program (PDF) is now available; a final program will be announced in July. As of July 1st, participants can also upload their papers via the conference portal.

Registration for the 11th IMISCOE Annual Conference in Madrid (IUEM, 27-29 August) is now open. Registration can be completed via the online conference portal. Deadline for registration is August 1st! Full papers will have to be uploaded to the conference online system no later than 1 August 2014. The conference fee is €200.

Please note that registration is required for ALL participants; also if you've already payed your membership fee (either individual or via your institute), registration for the conference has to be done separately. If you have already payed for membership, you will automatically receive a waiver for the same amount as your membership fee. The conference fee includes participation in the conference, the opening reception, the conference dinner and the social tour. By paying your membership fee, you will automatically become member of IMISCOE for a one-year period (read more about our membership policy).
