GRAFTON -- Five farm workers were sent to hospital with minor injuries after a trailer they were riding on was hit by a car.
Northumberland County OPP say on Oct. 16 at 7:10 a.m. a tractor hauling a flatbed trailer with nine farm workers on it was westbound on County Road 2 east of Grafton when a 2003 Chevrolet Impala hit the trailer from behind, causing two workers to fall off onto the road.
The two workers, along with three others on the trailer, were sent to hospital with minor, non-life-threatening injuries, according to police.
Ricarda Rodrica Daniel, 41, of Grafton, is charged with not having a slow-moving vehicle sign attached to the rear of the vehicle.
