Alliance Against Slavery's Third Annual Conference: Modern Slavery in Ontario and the World

Petsa at Oras

2013.02.23, 9:30 AM translation missing: tl.time.to 3:00 PM

Mga Detalye

225 years ago, 12 people sat around a table in a bookshop in London and founded an anti-slavery organization in England. It took them and those who joined them just 20 years to achieve the legal end of the slave trade across the entire British Empire, smashing a vast industry and setting the stage for the abolition of legal slavery everywhere. What they began is ours to finish.
