Founder and coordinator. Research Alliance on Precarious Status. Working group composed of faculty, graduate students and non-academics conducting research on precarious status in Canada. July, 2008-present.
Co-organizer. RELAC (Red de Estudios sobre Latinoamericanos en Canadá, Research Network on Latin Americans in Canada). Network of researchers and community workers; the network’s goal is to disseminate research on Latin American communities in Canada, and foster collaborative work on/with such communities. Founding meeting: November 6, 2002. Workshop held, April 22, 2003. Website includes references to wide range of literature on Latin Americans in Canada. Founding member. Member of executive committee (2007-2010). International Network for Migration and Development (RIMD). Two-year start-up period funded by the Ford Foundation. September 2002-2004.
